At GMT, we believe in the power of intellectual diversity. That said, here are some guidelines we generally follow…
What we do look for
Broad-Mindedness . You strive for objectivity, willing to consider far-fetched ideas in search of the truth.
Interdisciplinary Interests. You want to explore intellectual fields beyond your chosen major.
Critical Thinking. People who question assumptions, evaluate facts, and are open to new perspectives.
Curiosity. People who understand the implications of an inverted yield curve but can also explain why we get pruney skin in water.
What we don’t necessarily look for
Those of a certain personality. All kinds of personalities are essential to a great dynamic.
Those who share our opinions. The more distinct perspectives in the room, the better.
People who know what they want to do when they grow up. It’s still good to have a plan, though…
